On Sunday November 9, 2025 area Churches will recognize   Frederick Douglass Memorial Park Sunday and the upcoming 90th Anniversary celebration at the Hilton Garden Inn.

In 1935 Harlem Funeral Director Rodney Dade and fellow business men and women, Opened Frederick Douglass Memorial Park to be a peaceful parklike resting place  for African Americans denied  burial space elsewhere. 

Then on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Hotel, Staten Island, NY we celebrate the 90th anniversary!
